CoGo's Franchise Program Growing

PITTSBURGH -- CoGo's Co. continued to grow its retail franchise program yesterday after the Pittsburgh-based chain reached a deal with Charles and Bonnie Piscatelli to open a CoGo's Express franchise unit. The site, a former Gulf gas station owned by Cumberland Farms, is located in Ligonier, Pa.

The Express store has a projected opening date of May 15 and will be branded BP, the company said in a statement. In addition, the Lincoln Highway Heritage Corridor is in negotiations with the Piscatelli's to build its Welcome Center and offices adjacent to the convenience store.

Once the Ligonier CoGo's Express is opened, CoGo's will operate 89 stores in Pennsylvania and Maryland. The store would be CoGo's fourth franchised unit.
