    Clark, Royal Buying to Form C-store Buying Club

    RBG will provide services to all Clark-branded channel partners.

    LISLE, Ill. -- Royal Buying Group Inc. (RBG) is partnering with Clark Brands LLC to establish and conduct a convenience store buying club. This partnership will allow Royal Buying Group to provide convenience retailing services to all Clark-branded channel partners in the form of marketing programs, rebate administration and promotion management.

    “Clark is focused on providing comprehensive branding and payments processing solutions for independents. We’re excited to partner with the Royal Buying Group to further diversify our offerings," said Greg Mauro, communications and marketing manager for Clark Brands. "We know RBG will enable our retailers to be as successful as possible."

    Through the new partnership, Mauro said Clark will be able to provide its retailers with a more complete package of programs, services and rebates that will give them the tools, resources and savings to help them flourish in their business and become more profitable. Overall, Clark decided to engage with RBG as its new buying club to strengthen the brand and provide resources for growing each Clark location’s in-store sales.

    Naperville, Ill.-based Clark Brands licenses the Clark family of brands, including the Clark gasoline brand, Four Corners Coffee and the On the Go convenience store brand, to independent petroleum marketers and retailers throughout the United States. Clark's licensees manage their own petroleum supply.

    Clark Brands currently operates in 30 states with a reach that has expanded from the Canadian border to the Gulf of Mexico, and from Maryland to Texas. Clark provides branding and payments processing services to nearly 1,000 locations and is expanding into new markets each year.
