Clark Expands Retail Brand
Clark Retail Enterprises Inc. opened its newest White Hen Pantry co-branded with Clark gasoline yesterday in Antioch, Ill. The unit, which was converted from Clark's On The Go brand, is the fifth such co-branded unit for the Oak Brook, Ill.-based chain since it introduced the format last year.
The 2,800-square-foot store features an extensive fresh food offering including custom-made deli sandwiches, salads, soup, Cuisine de France bakery and White Hen's proprietary brand of coffee. It also has an expanded fountain offering; a walk-in cooler with beer, beverages and dairy products; and Lighthouse tobacco products.
Vibrant colors, unique fixtures and attractive materials combine to create a comfortable, relaxed retail experience in an open, well-lit atmosphere. The White Hen-Clark co-brand units target the shopper looking for the premier one-stop shopping experience with quality gasoline and fresh foods as well as core convenience items, the company said in a news release.
