CITGO Restructures Workforce
HOUSTON -- Due to the "unprecedented economic crisis" in the U.S., CITGO Petroleum Corp. began a restructuring process, which it said will have a minimal impact on the company’s payroll.
The restructuring efforts -- which were implemented in order to optimize organizational performance -- will impact less than 2 percent of the 3,762 employees currently working at CITGO, the company stated.
Those affected employees were offered special separation packages, according to the company.
