Circle K Brings DNA Drink to Florida

BOCA RATON, Fla. – DNA Energy Drink, made by DNA Beverage Corp., can now be found in more than 300 Circle K convenience stores in the state, the drink maker stated.

DNA Beverage’s wholly owned subsidiary, Grass Roots Beverage Co., distributes the product and services retailers stocking its beverages across the state, but excluding the panhandle region. Florida Beverage, which currently services Walgreen Co. and Tom Thumb stores, will do the same for Circle K stores in the Florida panhandle, according to the company.

"We look at the Circle K opportunity as a partnership more than just a supplier/customer relationship," DNA President Darren Marks said in a statement. "It is an honor to be associated with the nation’s second largest convenience store chain on this level and we will spare no effort in turning this opportunity into a huge success. It is our intent to utilize our many action sports accomplishments in motocross, surf, wakeboard and skateboard towards driving a younger demographic to Circle K stores thus making DNA an important and viable part of their future plans."

DNA Energy Drink targets the action sports world, and is packaged in 16-ounce cans in three flavors—Lemon Lime, Citrus and Citrus Sugar Free—which retail for a suggested price between $1.99 and $2.59, the company stated.

Marks added: "We are excited by the programs’ initial success from both a corporate and consumer standpoint and believe this commitment will ultimately lead to significant regional and national expansion."
