SAN RAMON, Calif. -- Chevron Global Marketing launched a new consumer Web site -- ChevronwithTechron.com -- complete with animation and interactive elements, including an ehanced Station Finder and a virtual tour of an Extra Mile convenience store.
In addition, the site features "Ask Mr. Gasoline" -- a section of frequently asked questions about gasoline, which are answered by Chevron gasoline expert Lew Gibbs, also known as "Mr. Gasoline," and his colleagues, the company stated.
"Customers should expect a quality experience when they visit their local Chevron station and the same should be said for the Chevron experience online," Glenn Weckerlin, global director of brand and product line management for Chevron Global Marketing, said in a statement. "Based on a wealth of customer feedback, we have created an interactive Web site that communicates the attributes of our stations in a way that resonates with our customers."
The site's homepage features an animated Chevron station image, which invites visitors to click on highlighted icons to hear vignettes and learn more about the benefits of the brand's patented additive, Techron, according to the company.
In addition, the Chevron Cars will be highlighted throughout the Web site, the company stated.
