Chester's Goes Green With New Signage

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Chester's International has made a commitment to sustainability by upgrading its signage. LED technology outdoor signs are now available for all Chester's operators, in addition to its current indoor LED options.

The move toward sustainable, energy-efficient LED exterior signage will benefit the environment and help Chester's operators cut their energy costs in half, the company said.

"The LED sign is the premier choice for representing the Chester's brand, all the while reducing lighting operating costs for owners," stated Patrick Spence, purchasing manager for Chester's International. The new look enhances the outdoor illuminated signs by making them brighter, truer to color, and easier to hang, according to the announcement.

In addition, two Chester's locations opened in South Carolina and Kentucky.

The new Chester's in Ballentine, S.C., is the second the company has opened inside one of Bob Brandi Stations Inc.'s Pitt Stop convenience stores.

"We at Bob Brandi Stations Inc. and Pitt Stop are excited about the latest addition to our restaurant group. We now offer three great dining choices — Chester's, Burger King and Subway," stated Joe Macri, director of operations for Bob Brandi Stations.

The Pitt Stop Chester's offers bone-in chicken and boneless wings, along with classic side dishes such as potato wedges, buttermilk biscuits, fried corn and baked beans for lunch and dinner.

"Chester's couldn't ask for a better partner. I see great things in the future with Bob Brandi Stations, Inc.," states Jeff Leonard, franchise business consultant with Chester's International.

The 62 Stop N Shop in Leitchfield, Ky., recently opened with the full Chester's menu.

"We are excited to have Chester's as part of our food offering. Customers have anxiously awaited the opening since the first sign went up," stated Doug Wards, president of 62 Stop N Shop. "The response has been tremendous and we definitely anticipate this being a great addition for our existing customers, as well as the new friends we look to make. Words can't express how excited we are to partner with a great company like Chester's."

"Chester's is excited to bring a fresh new fried chicken foodservice program to the Leitchfield area. We look forward to a long lasting partnership with 62 Stop N Shop," added Kathy Jackson, franchise business consultant for Chester's International.
