Retailers in Minnesota, Mississippi, South Dakota, Texas and Virginia now offering chicken.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Chester's International LLC opened five new restaurants (QSR) inside convenience stores.

The foodservice provider, known for its fried chicken, chicken tenders, sandwiches, wraps and salads, recently added locations in Charlottesville, Va.; Millbank, S.D.; Ortonville, Minn.; Walls, Miss.; and Stockdale, Texas.

The new Charlottesville Chester's opened inside S Fuel Company's remodeled facility. This Chester's location, which is co-branded with Subworks, is now open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The Millbank Chester's opened at Bill's Supervalu. This location -- one of many Chester's located inside a SUPERVALU store, is open for lunch and dinner beginning at 11 a.m.

Chester's also opened inside Hartman's Supervalu in Ortonville, Minn. This store was recently reopened after renovations were made to the deli. "The store looks great with the new signage and menu board," said Brian Simmons, franchise business consultant with Chester's. "This is a great way to reintroduce Chester's to their customers."

Over in Walls, Miss., Chester's opened a location inside Handy Food Store. The program is available at breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week.

Finally in Stockdale, Texas, a Chester's opened at the Texas Cooler convenience store in the Eagle Ford Shale where highways 87 and 123 cross. "We are excited about adding Chester's chicken to our food offerings here at Texas Cooler," said Hector Vidal, president of the convenience store. "Our customers love the taste."

Dennis Bollinger, area developer for Chester's International, noted that the new Texas location is the company's third in the Eagle Ford Shale oil field.
