ANKENY, Iowa -- Casey's General Stores celebrated store re-openings and grand openings across five states this weekend. Beginning Friday, the chain re-opened 11 locations in Missouri, Iowa, Illinois and Nebraska, while also opening two new convenience stores in Indiana and Iowa.
The re-openings took place in Richland, Mo.; Mount Vernon, Iowa; Dixon, Mo.; Steelville, Mo.; Bloomington, Ill.; Clay City, Ill.; Polo, Mo.; Creston, Iowa; Hamburg, Iowa; Tama, Iowa; and Norfolk, Neb. The grand openings were in Marion, Ind., and Bellevue, Iowa.
Casey's General Stores owns and operates more than 1,600 convenience stores in 11 Midwestern states. Most Casey's locations operate in towns with populations of less than 5,000.
