CHICAGO -- b2b Solutions LLC, based in Lake Forest, Ill., and Chicago-based W. Capra have formed a strategic marketing alliance to provide comprehensive operations, marketing and technology solutions to retailers in the convenience and retail petroleum channel. In a joint announcement, the two firms said they share a common belief that companies that do not meet changing consumer demands and have timely, actionable information do not have to worry about winning because they will not survive.
"Our vision is to provide retailers a single source of contact for all their business needs," said Steve Montgomery, b2b Solutions' partner and president. "Our alliance with W. Capra enables us to provide our retail customers access to services they need to get the most out of their investment in IT."
b2b Solutions will identify and recommend W. Capra services that can optimize their clients’ use of technology. These services include developing strategies; selecting solutions providers; designing, integrating and testing the selected systems; and successfully implementing the technology and business process changes.

The firms' combined vision is to enable convenience store retailers to capitalize on the dynamic changes in technology, business environment, consumer trends and competitive drivers, according to Montgomery.
