Using advanced dairy processing technologies, Byrne Dairy will launch its new Extended Shelf Life (ESL) 16-ounce product line Jan. 1, 2010. The single-serving line boasts up to a 90-day shelf life, and consists of Chocolate (3.25 percent fat); Low Fat Chocolate (1 percent fat,); Low Fat Strawberry (1 percent fat); Fat Free White; Low Fat White (2 percent fat); Vitamin D; Iced Cappuccino and Iced Mocha Cappuccino varieties. The milks are produced under Ultra High Temperature (UHT) conditions at Byrne's Ultra Dairy facility, according to the company. Bottles are made from fully recyclable PET plastic, and the beverages' labels have been redesigned, the company stated. Additionally, a complete line of flavored non-dairy creamers will also be available, as well as 12- and 8-ounce package sizes for the milk line, Byrne Dairy stated.
