BP's ampm Expands Fresh Breakfast Lineup

La Palma, Calif. -- BP’s ampm this month launched a new expanded breakfast menu. The new morning menu debuted this week featuring new proprietary products such as burritos and empanadas in addition to croissant sandwiches.

A promotion supporting the launch will allow customers to receive a free 12-ounce Tropicana orange juice with the purchase of one breakfast item from Sept. 2 through Nov. 3, at participating stores. The launch is being supported with radio and television advertising, coupons distributed via text alerts, and a sampling day Sept. 23, at participating stores.

"Breakfast is a very important part of the day for our on-the-go customers," said Bill Fry, president of BP U.S. Convenience Retail. "Our new menu and the promotional push behind it will ensure customers are aware of ampm as the destination choice for breakfast."

The morning menu will be available daily from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the hot-food areas of ampm stores across the nation. The menu contains the following offerings:

-- Two breakfast burritos: The Works, filled with smoked ham, bacon, sausage, eggs, hash browns and three cheeses; and the Chorizo con Papas, filled with chorizo, eggs, potatoes and a three-cheese blend.

-- Two empanadas (stuffed pastries): one with sausage, egg and cheese, and the other with chorizo, egg and cheese.

-- Depending on the region, ampm stores will offer two or three croissant sandwiches—one with sausage, egg and cheese, another with ham, egg and cheese, and a third croissant sandwich: bacon, egg and pepper-jack cheese.
"Consumers told us they want a variety of products with high-quality ingredients," said Fry. "This breakfast menu delivers that."
