BP to Sell 56 Retail Sites Across the U.S.

CHICAGO -- BP is offering 56 retail sites across the U.S. for commercial use through NRC Realty, many of which were company-owned and –operated locations that are part of the company's divesture of its retail assets over the next two years, NRC Realty stated.

Of the sites, 50 are currently closed while six are operating, NRC stated. The sites are located in major marketing areas throughout the nation including:

-- Phoenix

-- Los Angeles

-- Atlanta

-- Chicago

-- Indianapolis

-- Cleveland

-- Columbus, Ohio

-- Albany, Ore.

-- Pittsburgh

-- Seattle

Of the total, 52 will be sold with real estate, while the remaining four -- located in Duluth, Ga., Suwanee, Ga., Brecksville, Ohio and Bedford, Ohio -- will be sold with lease agreements and possibly deed restrictions on a site-specific basis.

NRC will accept offers submitted by March 6, 2008. Comprehensive color sales brochures and property specific packages (PSPs) are available for each property, and include property information, surveys and offering terms and conditions, NRC stated. The cost for each hard-copy PSP is $35 and $25 for a CD-ROM.
