MINNEAPOLIS -- Bobby and Steve's Auto World is teaming up with human resources software provider PeopleMatter to root out HR inefficiencies and improve the auto care/convenience store chain's customer service experience.
According to a press release issued by PeopleMatter, Bobby and Steve's will implement three of the company’s online HR modules : HIRE, LEARN and SCHEDULE. HIRE streamlines employee pre-screening and background checks, and provides a Web-based application that allows job seekers to apply 24/7 to multiple locations. LEARN enables the retailer to upload employee materials and tests that provide enhanced training to improve customer service quality. SCHEDULE is used to create accurate weekly schedules and automatic updates through the Web interface and the PeopleMatter mobile application.
"We designed the PeopleMatter platform to empower today's service-focused workforce and make their jobs easier," said Nate DaPore, PeopleMatter’s president and CEO. "Our platform allows teams -- like those at Bobby and Steve’s Auto World -- to focus on providing outstanding customer service instead of time-consuming HR processes."
Bobby and Steve's Auto World has more than 300 employees at its six locations. The chain provides automotive services such as car washes, towing, detailing and automotive care, as well as foodservice.
