Tobacco Plus Convenience Expo 2015 to Break Records

LAS VEGAS — Tobacco retailers and suppliers are expected to turn out in record numbers at the Tobacco Plus Convenience Expo 2015.

The annual event will take place Jan. 28-29 in the South Hall at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The expo will kick off with an opening reception on Jan. 27 at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino.

According to Reuters Exposition Services, registration has already surpassed the 2014 event.

Participants from more than 50 countries are slated to attend Tobacco Plus this year to meet and do business with manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors looking for product sales and distribution within and outside the United States.

As part of the expo, a roundtable discussion focused on doing business with Chinese exhibitors is planned for both days of the show at 11 a.m. in the exhibit hall. The discussion will focus on the opportunities and challenges faced on both sides. These roundtables will be moderated by Ed O'Connor, president/CEO of TMG International, and Arlen LUO, president of Newsteel Media of Beijing, China.

In addition, Steve Saka, former president/CEO of Drew Estate will moderate a roundtable discussion about adding premium cigars to the tobacco mix.

Roundtable discussions are free to all registrants.
