Scam Alert: Top Women in Convenience Urged to Decline Third-Party Solicitations

JERSEY CITY, N.J. — Convenience Store News’ 2016 Top Women in Convenience winners are currently being solicited to purchase plaques by a third-party company that is not authorized, affiliated or endorsed in any way to sell plaques bearing the Convenience Store News, Top Women in Convenience, or Stagnito Business Information + Edgell Communications brand names.

All Top Women in Convenience honorees will receive an official, complimentary keepsake award from Convenience Store News at the 2016 Top Women in Convenience awards reception on Tuesday, Oct. 18 in Atlanta, following the first day of the 2016 NACS Show.

Top Women in Convenience winners who are unable to attend the reception will also receive an official keepsake award, free of charge, from Convenience Store News shortly following the event.

Accordingly, all Top Women in Convenience winners and corporate organizers/affiliates are urged to decline any offer to purchase an award from a third-party vendor, and we welcome you to contact us immediately with any questions or concerns you might have.
