Rutter’s Tops Several Central Penn Business Lists

YORK, Pa.  Rutter’s Holdings, the parent company of Rutter’s Farm Stores and Rutter’s Dairy, tops several business lists in the 2015 edition of the Central Penn Business Journal’s annual Book of Lists, released this week.

Rutter’s holds the No. 3 ranking on the list of Top Private Companies in Central Pennsylvania, which is decided by total revenue. The company has attained a top 10 ranking on this list consecutively since 2005. 

Additionally, Rutter’s ranks ninth on the list of Fast Growing Companies, also determined by total revenue. For eight consecutive years, the company has appeared on this list. 

Lastly, Rutter’s appears at No. 19 on the Journal’s list of 50 largest employers, determined by the number of local employees.

Derek Gaskins, Rutter’s chief customer officer, credited the company’s accolades to consistent innovation.

“Our goal is to invest in the communities in which we operate and empower our team members to better meet the needs of our customers,” he said. “We continuously grow because we excel at providing great customer service and creating experiences that exceed the expectations of our team members and customers.”

York-based Rutter’s owns and operates 60 convenience stores in five counties throughout central Pennsylvania.
