Rutter's Adds New 'Best of York' Awards to Collection

YORK, Pa. — Rutter's Farm Stores received numerous accolades in the annual "Best of York" contest, as decided by the readers of The York Daily Record and The York Sunday News.

The convenience store chain was voted first place for Best Coffee, Best Milk and Best Convenience Store, and third place for Best Quick Service Restaurant and Best Wings.

"We are honored to receive the recognition from our loyal customers to win first in three categories. It is wonderful to have customers recognize our Rutter's dairy products, coffee, foodservice, and overall convenience store offerings as the best," stated Derek Gaskins, Rutter's chief customer officer. "This just reassures our commitment to growing and continuing to support our customers and team members."

Rutter's placed in all five categories in which it was nominated. This marks the 14th consecutive year that Rutter's has won Best Milk. This year is also the first year it won for the Best Convenience Store category.

In the categories where Rutter's placed third, it performed well against competition that included major chains such as Chick-Fil-A, Panera Bread, Buffalo Wild Wings, Quaker Steak & Lube and Chipotle, the company said.

York, Pa.-based Rutter’s is a family-owned convenience store chain operating more than 60 locations throughout Central Pennsylvania.
