    Atlas Oil Hires Two for Growth and Green Efforts

    The new vice president of supply and a biofuels business development director will help refine the company's fuel strategy.

    TAYLOR, Mich. -- Atlas Oil Co., a petroleum marketer and c-store operator, hired two new executives recently to help the company grow its supply and environmental efforts

    Don Jensen joined the company as vice president of supply. In his new role, Jensen will be responsible for overseeing Atlas’ optimization of supply in the Gulf Coast, Chicago and Canadian markets. He has prior executive experience in positions with SemFuel and Louis Dreyfus Energy Services. He also worked at Williams Energy Marketing & Trading and Conoco.

    Greg Bower joined Atlas Oil as its biofuels business development director, and will work to enhance the company’s biofuel business. He most recently was the general manager/CEO for Mid-Missouri Energy, and prior to that, was the director of Ssles and trading for Global Ethanol/Midwest Grain Processors in Minneapolis.

    Both Jensen and Bower will work out of the company's Houston office, according to the company.
