TAYLOR, Mich. -- Atlas Oil Co., now in its 25th year, expanded its operational footprint as it begins supplying gasoline, diesel, bio-diesel and E85 fuel to a number of stations in the Champaign, Ill. area previously fueled by common carriers.
"Atlas Oil's expansion into central Illinois is yet another example of how we develop customer relationships and leverage transportation resources for a fueling advantage," said Bob Kenyon, vice president of sales and operations. "We are actively pursuing a strategy that will expand our fuel distribution and supply management footprint to the entire country."
In the past six months, Atlas added assets and drivers to Ft. Wayne and Muncie Ind., Arlington Heights, Ill., Albuquerque, N.M., and next month will add Odessa, Texas, to the list. In Albuquerque and Odessa, Atlas is operating ethanol trans-loading facilities and performing local fueling services.
