TAYLOR, Mich. -- Atlas Oil Co. will be the official fuel supplier of the South Bend Silver Hawks minor league baseball team, delivering gasoline and diesel to power tractors and mowers used to maintain the field at Coveleski Stadium in downtown South Bend, Ind., the company reported.
"For the past 25 years, Atlas has been creating partnerships with local businesses to meet their fueling needs," Mike Evans, executive vice president of business development at Atlas Oil Co., said in a released statement. "Our newly developed relationship with the Silver Hawks is just a glimpse of more to come as Atlas continues to build out its fueling services in the Michiana region."
Atlas now offers tank wagon truck fueling services to Michiana companies, farms, homes and governments. Ideal for deliveries that range from a couple hundred gallons all the way up to 3,500 gallons, tank wagon trucks are the gas and diesel lifelines for countless transportation fleets, construction companies and back-up power generators, according to the company. Since 2002, Atlas has been very active in Michiana fueling retail gas stations. The addition of Atlas' tank wagon services provides customers of all sizes and needs a total fuel solution.
Atlas recently opened its regional operations office in Niles, Mich. to support its retail and commercial business customers in Southwest Michigan, Indiana and Illinois. Additionally, Inc. magazine recently named Atlas Oil to its Inc. 5000 list. When sorted by revenue, Atlas is ranked in the Top 20 for fastest growing companies.
