FAIRFAX, Va. -- ExxonMobil is bringing back its "half back" hot beverages promotion in time for another football season. This year, customers can get a 20-ounce gourmet Bengal Traders coffee for half the price seven days a week at participating Exxon or Mobil On the Run locations from now until the end of December.
"We know how busy our customers are," said Russ Ritenour, U.S. senior category manager, ExxonMobil Fuels Marketing. "They just don't have the time to wait in lines. But at On the Run, there is no waiting to place your order, and you're the coach of your cup. And now, you can get your favorite coffee at half the price."
The "half back" playbook not only involves half price coffee, but also the entire Bengal Traders menu that includes cappuccino, hot chocolate and Chai Latte. Bengal Traders, which is trademarked by ExxonMobil, is brewed from only the top 10 percent of mountain-grown Arabica coffee beans, considered the richest and most flavorful of the beans used in coffee brewing, according to the c-store retailer.
In addition to its "half back" offer, On the Run is again offering Free Coffee Mondays, giving football fans in select markets one more reason to root for the home team. In Charlotte, Houston, Dallas, Memphis and Nashville, fans will be offered a free 20-ounce cup of any Bengal Traders hot beverage every Monday after a Sunday win by their local team. And in Austin and San Antonio, Longhorns fans will receive their free cup after a win by the University of Texas football team.
