Apex 3 Direct Thermal Printer

The Apex 3 Direct Thermal Printer, developed by Extech Data Systems, is the newest addition to the company’s Thermal 3-inch receipt printer line, and is designed to be a lightweight, rugged and easy-to-use printing option, the company stated. The printer comes standard with Short Range Bluetooth technology, and is designed for WPAN, according to the company. It also has an optional Long Range Bluetooth version, as well as a magnetic card reader. The flash-based, integrated CPU contains firmware, resident fonts, rotated fonts, downloadable fonts, graphics, logos and bar codes, the company stated. The Apex 3 also features a page printing utility to create forms or templates that include text, barcodes and tables, the company stated.
