Anchor Packaging unveiled a value option for 9-inch round containers with its Valu-Bowl. With a 28-ounce capacity and ability to hold both hot and cold foods, the container offers operators a substantial cost reduction compared with other foodservice container options, the company stated. It can withstand heat of up to 230 degrees without off-flavors or -odors, according to Anchor Packaging. Valu-Bowls come with a black bowl and clear, anti-fogging lid with a secure snap closure for reliable transportation, the company stated. Bowls are also reusable and recyclable, and dishwasher and microwave safe.
