    Alon Takes Credit

    Partnership with Alliance Data Systems to provide a private label credit card program.

    Alon USA, the largest 7-11 licensee with 173 convenience stores in the Southwest, signed a six-year deal with Alliance Data Systems Corp. to provide a full-service private label credit card program, along with transaction processing and bankcard settlement services.

    The agreement between Alliance Data and Alon USA marks an extension of an existing private label credit card contract between the two companies while also expanding the scope of services provided by Alliance Data to Alon's 1,600 branded dealers and jobbers.

    Alliance Data will also provide financial services such as account acquisition and activation; card authorization and data capture; private label credit card issuance to nearly 190,000 customers; payment processing; statement generation; and customer service.

"We're looking forward to working with Alliance Data in leveraging existing marketing programs, and implementing new technologies and services that will help us grow and increase consumers' brand awareness of FINA."
