Allsup's Clean TEAM Initiative Awards First Grand Prize

STEPHENVILLE, Texas -- Allsup's Convenience Stores, together with its fuel supplier Alon Brands, has selected its Stephenville, Texas, store as the first Clean TEAM Initiative winner, according to an Empire Tribune report. Part of the grand prize is a brand new car for store manager Laurie Hamby.

The program highlights the importance of attractive stores, clean and comfortable restrooms, attentive customer service and freshly stocked shelves to create exceptional customer experiences and to present positive environments in local communities, according to the report. More than 170 Allsup's locations were evaluated in six key areas of cleanliness and customer service from the third quarter of 2011 through the second quarter of 2012. Incentives for managers and store associates included more than $100,000 in cash and prizes including gift cards, fuel vouchers and the new car.

Allsup's President and CEO Lonnie Allsup announced that Hamby and the Stephenville store, located at 2025 NW Loop, received a perfect score of 100 percent.

"We're proud to recognize Laurie and her team for what they have accomplished here in Stephenville," said Allsup. "This program has benefited our hard-working employees and loyal customers, while improving the overall performance of our stores. This is a great opportunity to honor the family we've built here at Allsup's and elevate our contribution to the communities we serve."
