7-Eleven, WWE Form Tag-Team to Promote Wrestling Stars

DALLAS and STAMFORD, Conn. -- 7-Eleven Inc. and WWE will be "taking it to the mat" for another year. The companies announced an agreement whereby 7-Eleven will promote WWE collectible Slurpee and Super Big Gulp cups and straws throughout this month.

The agreement marks the first time 7-Eleven has had three consecutive summer promotions with one entertainment company.

The featured cups and straws of WWE superstars and legends will include John Cena, The Rock, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Randy Orton, Shawn Michaels and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper.

7-Eleven customers who buy a Slurpee drink along with a TWIX bar can also enter to win an all-expense-paid trip to WrestleMania XXVIII, which will take place at Sun Life Stadium in Miami on April 1, 2012. To register for the VIP trip, consumers need to go to 7-Eleven’s Slurpee website, www.slurpee.com, and enter their Slurpee Nation reward points and TWIX game codes.
