7-Eleven Brings Comic-Con International, "Cowboys & Aliens" to Fans

DALLAS and SAN DIEGO -- 7-Eleven will bring fans news from this weekend's Comic-Con International through on-site roving reporter Art Baltazar, who will provide an insider's view of the largest comic book and pop culture convention in the U.S., the company announced. Baltazar, an award-winning comic artist and writer, will provide convention updates and exclusive content and previews for the upcoming "Cowboys & Aliens" movie from July 20-24.

Fans can follow Baltazar's reports through 7-Eleven's, Slurpee's and Baltazar's Twitter and Facebook pages, the company reported.

"Cowboys & Aliens" stars Daniel Craig as an amnesiac who must lead a group of Old West cowboys against hostile aliens with superior technology. 7-Eleven will send Baltazar to the film's premiere on July 23 to report from the red carpet.

To keep Comic-Con fans cool, 7-Eleven is also providing free Slurpees from its Slurpee trailer, located in the PETCO Park parking lot from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. on July 21-23, according to the announcement. Additionally, 11 7-Eleven stores in downtown San Diego are offering movie-themed freebies from July 21-23 while supplies last. These stores will also carry an exclusive 7-Eleven collector cup set featuring "Cowboys & Aliens"-themed Slurpee cups, Super Big Gulp cups, the light-up Wrist Blaster Slurpee mug and a limited edition set of playing cards.
