7-Eleven, AMP Energy Launch Big Energy Campaign

DALLAS -- 7-Eleven Inc. is teaming up with AMP Energy this spring for the Big Energy Campaign, according to PepsiCo. NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. is starring in the exclusive sweepstakes promotion, which runs throughout this month and May.

The campaign includes a complete relaunch of AMP Energy's lineup of Boost, Focus and Active varieties, and features two-for-$3 pricing at 7-Eleven stores across the United States. Point-of-sale materials support the promotion and direct customers to visit AMP's Facebook page at www.facebook.com/ampenergy or text "gear" to AMPUP in order to enter to win Earnhardt-themed prizes.

"We appreciate the support of AMP Energy, PepsiCo and Dale Jr. to help drive our Big Energy feature in April and May," said Nancy Smith, vice president of marketing for 7-Eleven. "The level of joint planning and building of this program really highlights how strong the 7-Eleven/PepsiCo partnership is."

Earnhardt-inspired gear designed exclusively for the promotion includes hats, T-shirts, bags and hoodies. This new campaign isn't Earnhardt's first experience with AMP Energy; in 2009, the driver co-created the limited-edition AMP variety, Tradin' Paint.
